Kiala Givehand: Mixed Media Inspiration Deck (MMID)

hopefully by now you've run across this wonderful deck of artsy cards that puts a fresh and exciting spin on the old idea of art prompts, but just in case you haven't, you will today!

it's my turn to join in on the MMID blog hop. woot! (thank you so much, kiala!!) i was able to make some good progress on my stack of Christmas ornaments using Kiala's Mixed Media Inspiration Deck. i had SO much fun!! you'll see in the video below just how incredibly easy it was to get where i needed to go using the deck. enjoy!!

  6. How gorgeous your baubles are - so lovely to watch them come into being, and the differences between them even though they all came from the same cards. I loved the stage of looking for where the faces were. I love that you also felt free to ignore some of the prompts that came up - the permission to just say, "no, that's not me", or "that's not what's next" and pick the next card...   10. Thank you for this sharing this fabulous tool! Your video made me see that we all NEED these cards! :) -especially those of us (me! LOL) who struggle with how to start a painting/page/whatever so we don't, which is worse than starting and making something that we don't like.
